We Couldn’t Believe the Malls in Croatia! 😯 #croatia #livingabroad

We’re a digital nomad family who sold it all to travel the world currently living in Croatia. And here’s what it was like to visit the mall here. Right. Today we are headed to the mall because it’s kind of a one-stop shop for everything that we need. They have a play place for Zozo. Of course, we’re going to get some ice cream, something to eat, and also we need to do some grocery shopping. And yes, there is a grocery store inside of the mall. We have a rental car, so the mall is only a 10-minute drive from our apartment. And the mall is so nice. Like, malls in Europe just truly hit different from the malls in the US. This mall is so nice. just puts to shame the malls that we have in the US. Like they had a movie theater in there and their food court was like actual restaurants. So nice. They even have these little chargers here while you sit down to eat. We decided to get something from Fit Foodie. We got the smoked salmon omelets and some strawberry pancakes for Zizzo. Look at that though. Like I could never get this quality from a mall in America. This looks so good. Also, one of the things I love about malls here in Europe as a parent is that they do have these indoor play places for the kids, especially in destinations where it can get really hot during the day and we can’t go to the parks. And y’all are not going to believe how much this cost us. So, basically, it’s free for the first 2 hours. And on top of that, the kids can be by themselves because they have attendants that are there. So, basically, it’s almost like a gym where you can leave your children there with the attendants and then go shop on your own. Why don’t we have that in the States? Now we’re at the bio store. We’re stocking up on tofu and Satan and all the vegan things. And then on top of that, they’ve got all of these different chocolates. They look so good. I don’t even know which one I want. A strawberry quinoa pop, rose water, berry berry. We are truly doing malls all wrong in the US. Great. That was a successful trip to the
