Night ride from Manchester out into the countryside, also first ride with bike in monstercross/winter mode.

When I built my bike earlier this year I had some spare MTB 27.5 wheels which I used during assembly and testing while I waited for my carbon 700c wheels to arrive. I have done all of my riding on the carbon wheels with 45mm tyres and have been getting the other wheels set ready to swap in for winter riding so after some really muddy conditions on the weekend which were hard work I swapped the 27.5 with 2.2 xc tyres on (and fitted some mudguards).
I thought they might be a bit slower that the other wheels and they don't feel quite as quick to accelerate but I managed a load of PBs on my ride tonight.
