  1. I would stay away from early generations of Evil carbon bikes. I have seen so many catastrophic failures. A friend broke both arms after his frame snapped when landing a jump.

    Both are cool, Evil’s are unique. There was a time period during COVID in which evil was understaffed/funded and the bikes from that time period were plagued with weak carbon. Just keep that in mind, you could also look into what their current warranties are for those bikes affected or call their Bellingham location to get more details
