    Did you try shifting the rear mech before fucking with the cable tension? I can’t remember exactly but I think you’re supposed to be in a certain “gear” in the back for it to line up with minimal adjustment

  2. you’re not going to get the alignment correct so that it will work on the KICKR and the bike. I have a dedicated bike for the kickr. If you don’t have a dedicated bike, then you’ll have to readjust each time you switch. I got around this by just leaving my rear derailleur on one cog and avoided shifting. Got tired of that, so found a cheap bike for the Kickr.

  3. Other user is correct. One of the gears in the rear will be most ideal. From there, OP could mess with the barrel adjuster if they thought they could get a better/quieter alignment.

    The best thing to do now is either take it to a shop or look up how to index and set up a rear derailleur. Free to Cycle makes great videos for this.
