Half shell or full face? Blake Hansen gives us a crash course on which is best for when, and what you might want to consider in your next helmet.

there are two main styles of helmets the half shell and the full face half shell helmets are great on days when you’re going to be pedaling a lot the only downside to a half shell is that it doesn’t offer full coverage protection so if you do fall on your face you’re a little more exposed the major benefit to a full face is that it’s just going to offer better protection

  1. What’s your opinion on the removable chin ones. I know they have been around a while but what’s the verdict? They look like the perfect solution?

  2. Cheer~~~the sport or activity of riding a mountain bike, particularly off-road.(I just got quite an interesting channel I had today and still learning contents by heart)😊

  3. Nice video. Just a comment about the visor position, especially on the half, is useless. It does nothing to block the sun, sitting high like that it is more likely to snag branches, and the increased distance from the centre of the head increases whiplash forces on the neck when it does catch. Ridiculous engineering.
