The front hub was sticky and dry. And the dust caps on the cones, which were worn were rubbing against the inside of the hub.
So I got a new axle with cones that have dustcaps built into them.
But I can’t ge the axle back together. It always is off, one side of the cone/cap is in teh right spot but the other side gets stuck on the outside of the hub, at an offset angle.
I did repurpose the old bearings because they are still good, are these bearings too big for the new cones perhaps?
The axle is straight and not bent.
