When I first picked up this bike the white brake lever hoods were in pretty bad condition. I decided to try to clean them up and to my surprise they actually came out pretty good. With that in mind, I now need to get new bar tape. The bike originally came with white tape but I am not a fan of how quickly white tape gets dirty. I'm leaning toward either purple or yellow but I am curious what anyone else thinks.

Black. You won’t be able to exactly match the purple or yellow, and it will look cheap if there is a color difference.
Black will also go with the saddle.
Yellow is going to get as dirty as the white lol. I’d do faux leather. Something like [this](https://velo-orange.com/products/rubbery-handlebar-tape).

Yellow, yellow cable housing. Black brake hoods would look good with the yellow.
