Recently I’ve been trying to find my first bike so that I can get to work without relying on someone to take me and without using public transportation, the problem is I haven’t had a bike since I was seven- and I don’t even remember ANYTHING about it. The distance from my work is four to five miles with a small slope somewhere in between, but I wouldn’t call it a hill as it’s not that steep. I have a pretty tight budget ($100) as I don’t have a lot of money to spend..
I’ve been looking on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist and I found this bike which is in my price range and isn’t in terrible shape, but I don’t know if it would work for me. It’s a 26 inch huffy bike, and I’m 5’7 on the heavier side. I just don’t know if this bike would be okay for me, or if there’s something better that I could possibly afford..

look for something with gears. This is for riding on flat ground for short distances at a slow speed. The quality of parts is also not good. This will not last you long. Look for something with gears. Check to see if there is a bike co op near you which should have good deals on bikes.
