now we are at the uh oh hello child we’re now at like the uh City Center I guess that’s one
thing I like about Europe they all have the same kind of layout when it comes to the inner
city like no cars just people the stores it’s very nice come on dbg you know we got that g

// “Too bad they only showed the city center and the ugly Marxloh and ugly Rheinhausen. Duisburg has amazing spots and beautiful little villages. Wedau would have been nice too.”

  2. I am a Duisburger and I gotta say Meiderich and Marxloh are the uglyest parts of Duisburg but there are a lot of friendly people 👍. And Duisburg has the biggest inland harbour in Europe

  4. I'm from Duisburg Marxloh and can give you a little more information about this place.

In itself, if you look at it objectively, it's a place with a lot of room for improvement. The garbage on every corner is so normal for us that we've started making jokes about it like: "Do you need tires? Do you need a refrigerator? I can give it to you right away." There are two types of Marxloh residents. Some never want to leave because it's their home. And then there are the people who are bitter and very negative about the situation in this part of town and want to move if the opportunity arises. This place is nowhere near as criminal as it was 20 years ago, but it's not particularly peaceful either. If you ask female residents if they would walk through Marxloh alone at night, most of them will say no. You never know who's out and about. It's like Russian roulette. But if you look past the negative things, there are many positive aspects. It is very diverse here. Racism is not really a problem here. A lot of people look out for each other. There is really a lot here. Great shops for shopping. The best kebab shops (Bal Köfte, Paradies, Edis Pizza). The nicest people here are the Germans, who I have to give credit to for their patience with many of the problems here. On the whole, Marxloh is for people who were born and grew up there. For some who came later, it is a long phase of getting used to it.

  5. You also have to see Sportpark (the kayak olympics was here) in WEDAU,
In the city= University in NEUDORF
And DUISSERN, RAHM or next to (most famous ugly) Marxloh is the opposite FAHRN nice to live

  6. i'm a Duisburger myself and even i would say that Duisburg is one of the ugliest citys you visit in germany, Marxloh And Hamborn is kinda like a slum of Duisburg i would say, like Ali said, it's Little Istanbul. like a Bundeswehr officer once said to me, "the best thing about Duisburg is the way out"

  7. Nice Video!
Kind information: gipsies want to be called „Sinti und Roma“ in Germany. „Zigeuner“ is a discriminating term. Seems like you learned from Germans who are not aware of that..

  8. Next time you're in Duisburg I'd love for you to see or to show you myself more beautiful places! We have great nature. Marxloh is little turkey and known for high criminality rates and poor people. But we have so much more. Many people recommended great places🙏

  9. Damn bro, didn't know you were in Rheinhausen, I'm from next door in Homberg, that's like, a 20 minute busride to Rheinhausen Markt 😀
Marxloh is a ghetto btw, we usually don't go there
    It's really a massive problem

  10. What Ali presents as a positive point, that there are no Germans in Marxloh and that you don't have to learn German there because everyone speaks Turkish, is actually a real indictment. A parallel society and toxic for society.

  11. Hier will mal wieder jemand mit seinen Klicks Geld verdienen.
