I found out about this company thru this sub. They are pretty popular for their casual take on t shirt/jerseys and I was stoked to see that they had entered the bib short market as they seem like a company that makes high quality goods. I already own a few pairs of maap bibs but was yearning to try something new so I figured why not give them a shot? Turned out to be an expensive mistake for me.

Looks: 9/10

Sleek, nice logo and placement. Nothing too flashy or tacky. Nothing to complain about.

Fit: 10/10

I was actually extremely impressed the first time I put these on. The sizing is accurate and the way they contoured to my body felt better than any other bib I’ve tried on before. I had very high hopes when I first tried them on because of how comfortable they felt right away, which makes the next part even more disappointing.

Chamois: 3/10

Now, this part is personal and your mileage will vary exponentially depending on your anatomy and how you sit on the bike.

Let’s start with the way the pad is formed. It’s a triple density pad meaning it’s thickest at the back and thinnest at the front, but these levels are split into sections with big gaps in between. They should really add a picture of the pad to their site because if I knew this, I probably wouldn’t have ordered them.

While riding, my sit bones end up resting in the middle section of the pad, dangerously close to one of the gaps. No matter how I move or adjust the pads it always settles back to this spot where I can feel the gaps in the pad rubbing against my skin and causing chafing. The middle section isn’t the thickest part so it makes the back section being the most supportive totally useless to me. The front part of the pad being so thin also means I felt more pressure on my perineum region than I ever have before. I tend to tilt my pelvis forward a bit when I ride so even with a cutout saddle, having supportive padding in that region is super important.

Overall: 5/10

Verdict: Buy at your own risk. I feel like theres an equal chance of these bibs either being perfect for you, or the worst bibs you’ve ever had, and not a lot of in between. If you already have a brand of bibs you trust, these are not worth making the switch.

Again, your experience with these might be totally different, but I hope this helps people make an informed decision as there isn’t any other reviews for them yet as far as I can see.

Is it an Interface chamois? I see them also in Cafe Du Cycliste. I did an imperial century ride with it, no probs. Waiting for my Assos endurance bibs though, I hope it is better.

I am pretty much Velocio only at this point. I wanted to try Q36.5 but after getting a bit screwed by roadkit I just said screw it and went back to Velocio. They blow away Addis and the rest.
