Itsxab the chain butt u have much more power and a better chain saw the 291 is like universal use while 400 and 500i are more bigger logs cuting down and into pieces ur not gona use them to trim them would u ?
The guy in the middle has perfect technique which takes patience the guy with the 500 cuts like me like a wild man who refuse to let the saw do its job. That’s why I go through so many chains. That all burred beyond repair 😢
I think we should see a chain comparison. I have used Stihl chains when they came with new saws, but I have been heavily disappointed with those chains. I switched to Oregon chains and won't use anything else. They last longer and cut faster without question.

The fact the 291 was only a few seconds slower at a cost stand point compared too the other 2 saws speaks
