How am i supposed to remove this? What tool do I need? And is there a way I can improvise , just this once. I was thinking of using a hammer. But honestly I don't know if I want to risk it.

I think you’re looking for some kind of adjustable spanner wrench, although I have never seen one with three pins. It may be a specialty tool. I hope this helps get you started.
Edit: It may also be called a C hook spanner which only has one pin.
