  1. The plastic disc appears to be dislodged and off center. My hunch is that it’s causing friction against the cassette.

    To remove the cassette and find out, you’ll need a cassette lockring removal tool, chain whip and a big wrench.

    If that isn’t the issue, you’re in luck because it’ll be easier to sort out with the cassette off. If it still makes noise after repositioning or removing the dork disc, let us know.
