It’s a good one. Here we go. This right here is an electric dirt bike. We don’t have pedals on it. The cops don’t really like them, but they’re fun. And this right here is a mountain bike. front rear suspension. It has pedals on the thing. It’s not electric. It’s fun, but it’s not as fun as the electric dirt bike in my opinion. Imagine those two bikes come together and have a baby. That is exactly what this bike is, and I’m excited. We finally got our hands on one. So, check this out. This is the new Bonell 775 MX. It is a hybrid ebike, mountain bike. It’s like both these bikes put together, the bike that was never made has finally been created. All the videos I’ve seen about this bike online, it looks absolutely amazing. I’ve asked a couple people who have ridden them before. They have nothing but good things to say about it. And I guess one of the main things I’m excited for is it bridges the gap. So, I’m able to ride this bike a lot more places that I wouldn’t be able to ride the electric dirt bike or just a mountain bike. So, having this should be sick. We got the medium size. I’m about 5’7, 160 lb. So, they would gave me a medium. And then we got that purple, which is the amethyst. I think that’s how you say it. Easy enough. Here we go. Check it. That front tire charger for the bike. Oh god. Getting a first look at this. I’m in the shade and the color looks sick. It’s like a dark purple. Wow. It looks really good. [Music] Comes with a little multi-tool kit. Perfect. I think I could put a front plate on this. Like an ODI front plate. [Music] All right, guys. The Bonell 775 is all put together. This thing looks beautiful in its stock stand form. I threw a Moto Cuts front number plate on here just because I was like styled a little bit. I mean, the front is just open and I had an extra plate, so I was like, you know what? I’m going to go ahead and throw that plate on. But this thing is looking so nice. The only thing I got to do is pump up these tires cuz they’re a little soft. But I mean, just looking at the bike, like I’m honestly so impressed. It’s like having a Sauron but so much lighter weight. Like they said, I think 60 lb. I don’t know exactly how much I put it on the screen. Oh, sitting on a mountain bike, it just feels so different. Wow. It’s so quiet, too, compared to the Sauron. Like, look, you can’t hear nothing. I kid you not. Like, there’s just no way. It’s sick. So, just so you guys know, let me show you guys this real quick. So, boom. There’s race mode, which is the unlocks the full power, and then the street mode, which uh obviously like limits it. So, we’re just going to go into race mode. It’s 6 kW, so it’s about a stock ser, level two, level three. We’re just going to go all out right now. I’ll test the other levels later. While the battery is full, I want to see how fast we can get going right here. It’s quick. That’s pretty. Okay, so I’m limited to 31. I think it has more. I have to go into the app and I have to I think set the speed limit some high cuz I could feel it cutting out. So, I got to figure that out. But oh my gosh, dude. This thing is crazy. This opens up so much more riding spots on this bike. Like, look at this. We’re going 21. Let’s pop it up. Dude, it’s such a different balance point, too. Oh. So, it’s maxing out at 31, but I think it can go a little faster. At least it feels like it. Oh my gosh. Crazy feeling. That is a crazy feeling I’ve never experienced before. might be the sickest bike ever created right now for 5500. I want to say it’s 5500. This thing is sick. Boom. Look at that. The throttle response is good. That’s usually how you know it has a good throttle tune. If you can wheelie like see how responsive it is. [Music] We got a little trail up in here. Wow. It’s faster than you like would think. Oh, I got to remember. I’m not I don’t have a like a moto seat. So, I got to remember to FYI, guys. I have literally have zero mountain bike experience. Like zero. I’ve never been out mountain biking. So, this is like a first time, dude. The This thing is like the craziest feeling ever. Really? It’s like the It’s so light. It’s like I don’t even know. I don’t know how to explain it. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I definitely got to get used to it. It’s different. I’m sure this thing could be shredded like a million times harder. My only concern was this cuz like there’s nothing to catch this. And I’m like, if you were to bottom out this thing completely, would this hit? Yeah. Here, try this thing. It’s on the highest level, but it it like maxes out at 31. So, I got to go in the app and I think unlock it. This is completely different from anything that I’ve seen cuz the ebikes in the mountain bike like the the motors are like hidden in the frame and it’s only pedal assist. So the fact that this has a throttle makes it so much sicker. like I think. Yeah. Hit it. Hit it. It lowkey handles all this stuff. Oh, shoot. So overgrown. Ow. That branch hit me in my sack. Oh. I’m sure you have to have like some sort of heart monitor and then also has a stopwatch and all sorts of stuff. Dude, that’s you fart. Dude, the first jump you were you came in like hot. I don’t want to go on like crazy trails or anything like that cuz I did not know what to expect with this thing. But so far, like, I’m not even going to lie, it’s like exceeded all my expectations. Suspension feels good. I didn’t mess with the clickers on the rear or the front. I usually don’t mess with my clickers. I kind of just get used to it and then I just learn how to ride it like that. I probably should, especially on a mountain bike for a bike this light and how fast we can go on it. So, I’ll probably tweak with those eventually, but so far so good. 46%. We’ve done a good amount of riding today. I got nothing bad to say about it besides I don’t have anything to squeeze, but that’s every mountain bike, right? So, I’m just used to the bigger bikes. I could squeeze the bike. I could squeeze the frame or the tank. This I’m squeezing up here and then I can’t squeeze down here. Like I’m like, if I could put like a tiny little piece of foam so I don’t smack myself on the middle, that would be perfect. Yeah. Here we go. And then like it’s so light. Like look, you could just skirt it. Like it it literally weighs nothing. Sickest bike ever. I said it a million times. So, technically this is a demo bike. This is not my bike. I do have a flat, which sucks, but it’s all good. This is an experience that I’ve never experienced before. I was always skeptical on hopping on a mountain bike cuz I feel like I see so many videos of people getting bucked. this thing with the throttle, no issue at all. I was hitting those jumps no problem. Not that there any big jumps or anything like that, but like I was just getting a feel for it. So, the twist throttle on a mountain bike, I think, is uh this could be the new wave. Honestly, this might be the new wave of ebikes. I want to take this thing to a bunch of trails that I know of.
