  1. You *never* heard of Omnium before??

They are one of the most recognized brand of the cargo bike market, precisely for the model you found – and like Larry vs Harry who make the Bullit, they’re from Copenhagen.

Those Omniums are becoming ubiquitous in courier services (as the Bullit already are).

They are on the lighter side, and there’s a version where the platform can be tilted when carried in a train.

They have an electrified version with a Shimano STEPS motor (second best mid-drive motor after the Bosch offering in my opinion, feeling- and efficiency-wise)… as does LH with their eBullit.

You can ask for a titanium version, if you fancy completing the Silk Road by bike.

  2. Well, – Omnium is all over Copenhagen. I’ve only tried their non-cargo bike, but would like to try the other models. Perhaps, I should use my vacation to visit the shop and take a bike for spin 🙂

  3. Great bikes, a friend and his GF have a cargo and and electrified minimax. We’re thinking about getting one for my GF too as I already have a Bullitt

The Omniums are great bikes. Despite their size and weight, they don’t ride like they are huge bikes.
A friend of mine has one and we actually even go on overnighters with it (his two dogs sit in the omnium) and you’ve got plenty of space to bring supplies.

they’re getting more and more popular here in Germany. millennial parents that need more space, but don’t want an e bike
