Hi everyone,
I’m considering purchasing a Victoria E-bike TRESALO 6 through the BCA Bikes auction (www.bca.com/bikes
) in the Netherlands. The bikes listed for auction are brand new.
I have a few questions:
If I buy the bike, am I entitled to the manufacturer’s legal warranty? Since the bike is essentially new, I would expect the manufacturer’s warranty to apply, but I’m not entirely sure.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty become void if the bike is not purchased through an official dealer, or does it not matter as long as the product is new?
I’d greatly appreciate any advice or insights from anyone with experience in this area!
Thanks in advance!

It doesn’t matter what Redditors think – this is a question for the manufacturer. Just contact Victoria and ask them directly.
Usually a warranty is non-transferable and only applies if the item is purchased from an official dealer. But there are exceptions of course.
If BCA is a reputable vendor and there’s a problem with your bike right off the bat, I tend to believe they would make it right.
