To get the ship inside the bottle, fold the masts flat so they fit inside. Once in position, gently tug thin strings attached to each mast and sail. The mast slowly rise upright and the sails line up, settling in place. With thin sticks and tweezers, you attach the rigging and shift the sails until it’s perfect. Then you carefully trim the strings, sealing the bottle shut.

  1. My dad had a ship In a bottle and I wondered how they got the ship inside of it. Turns out on this model in particular you can take off the bottom of the bottle which allows for ease of access
