the Western shores of Europe playing host to the big wave and of course Garrett and Pete this is the arena this is the best I love this imagery um whoever did this has did a amazing job the canyon is 25 M long and 3 m deep so we’re going to get to see where it ends right now watch this little graphic is so sick and the thing about this this graphic when you look at it and and why this place is so special is because of that Canyon and really what when waves come in the energy doesn’t just sit on the surface of the ocean it actually goes down all the way down to the very bottom and so when you have no imped by the bottom that’s when you’re going to have all of the energy of the swell hit the shoreline and that’s because of this Canyon it feeds the swell in here and goes straight to that beach and creates this amazing wave and you know if you think about amazing waves around the world a lot of them has to do with the Petry of the bottom

  1. The spacing between the wave crests indicates how deep the wave is. The amount of movement drops by half in each wavelength of depth.
So with most waves, most of the movement is near the surface. Only with tsunamis is there much water movement deep below the surface.
