Picked up an All-City Gorilla Monsoon and contemplating bike commuting with it, in the MPLS suburbs. Was talking to a bike tech at REI and he recommended getting my bike fogged if I’m riding through winter so my bike doesn’t rust from the inside out.
I had never heard of such a thing, so was curious everyone’s thoughts on it!

What does it consist of? I know the past few winters, I’ve dealt with everything. From my seat post getting frozen in, to my multiple headsets wearing out, as well as bottom brackets. So the winter always years my bike up pretty good all the time.
I have used a rust protection nside old steel frames before. I don’t know if you need it, but it won’t hurt.
