I saw on internet that a real whip is executed a bit differently than what I do. If its not a whip then how is this trick which I'm trying to do called?
Some people might do it slightly differently but this is still definitely a whip

It’s a fish whip. You should be glad you can style a jump but…..look at your bars. They remain straight and facing the landing the whole way through. Now look at most guys that can really whip. Bars go sideyways. You’re throwing your hips out to the side which helps the whip. But add in a little carve off the lip and turn the bars / guide the bike to the side with your hands and bring it back, the bike will follow.

I mean, technically it is more of a kickout than a whip. For a smoother whip motion, you’ll want to learn to ‘carve’ into the lip of the jump, which will initiate the motion rather than you having to aggressively twist your hips.
I can’t type out a reasonable way to learn that motion other than recommending YouTube research or asking local riders who jump in a fashion you’d like to mimic / progress towards.

Yeah!
No, you need at least 90°

I’ll allow it.
Smells like a whip to me.
