    Sorry for your loss! Maybe you can get it fixed by some carbon expert in your town? But likely cheaper to buy a new frame.

    I’d wrap tf outta that seat stay with some new material and keep riding it tbh there’s tutorials out there and it would probably be fine for commuting

    That really sucks dude. The sentimental nature of the loss has gotta make it even worse. I’m glad you’re not badly hurt, and hopefully, you get made whole monetarily.

    I don’t think it’s practical to get this repaired. I think it might be difficult to find someone who is competent that would even want to; it’s a liability nightmare. The safe move would be to relegate this to wall-hanger status. This is an over 30 years old carbon bike, and it’s impressive that it’s made it this far. I don’t think I could trust one, (an intact, non-crashed one, let alone a repaired one) but everyone has a different risk calculation.
