Its always nerve-racking crossing into a new country thinking have I got all Nala’s paperwork right or not but we got through okay and what an amazing camping spot we found for our first night in Croatia aswell 😻😻😻

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was actually cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet – but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together. So feel free to tag along if you’re interested in following our journey and adventures around the globe ❤️

What’s happening? There we go so the Croatian border is just down here Not got far to go maybe another 5 minute cycle but Just getting Nala out, giving her a wee play and some food and water What can you smell? Ehhh showing them all the rat holes Come on, you’re good There we go, that’s Croatia just over that fence there So I think we’ve got, it’s not far before we get into the passport control bit So I don’t know how much I’ll film because there’s usually quite a big military presence around these bits So aye, we’ll see what it’s like down here – Where you going?

Thank you sir, cheers And that’s it, we’re in So they were actually quite nicely the lady was good she was friendly but they looked at every single bit of paperwork you needed so they checked Nala’s stuff my passport, checked everything so aye, but we’re through now so Hello Croatia So we’ve got about 25 minutes left of light now Trying to find somewhere to camp but there’s been 2 military vehicles go past and then 2 police cars this way so if we’re going to find somewhere to camp it needs to be somewhere good Aye 25 minutes left of light so we better crack on better get a move on What do you think Nala? Well I think this is perfect for me It’s a church, but I don’t even think, I mean, there’s plenty of trees over there The sun’s just about to go down, don’t even think I’m gonna set up the tent the night I think this is just a case of put the mattress down there and just sleep on the floor The thing is though, that’s that’s pretty cold but aye We’ll get a good night’s sleep And if it starts raining we’re sheltered I’ll bring the bike in here as well it seems to be quite a Doesn’t seem to be anybody walking about so You coming? We’re not going to church come on this way It’s no Sunday it’s Monday you’re a day late come on So aye, I think that’s a pretty good camping spot we found Nala What do you think? Ah there she is Always keep an eye on her Yeah so there’s a few people walking their dogs so I’m just gonna wait till it’s dark then bring my bike up in here Just put my air mattress down and then in the sleeping bag, it’s sheltered Aye, first night in Croatia, sleeping in a church So tonight’s dinner, just got some uncle ben’s rice and we’re gonna have some tomato soup after it Just keeps nice and warm on these cold nights Nala’s in the basket just now and I’m gonna take her out a wee quick walk Well not a wee quick walk but aye, it’s only 5 o’clock and it’s pitch black so Gonna take her out to play afterwards But aye, look at this There is my house for the night, pretty cool Come on then come on Where we going?
