  1. Relative to no bike, it’s fabulous! Relative to other fixed gear purpose built bikes, not very. It’s entry level, but has prerequisite parts and proper frame type. If you’re looking to try out fixed gear, this will serve that purpose if it is the right size. If you’re looking for something that will be a long-term ride and last… you may be better off looking on the second hand/used market.

    It’s a bike and if your wanting to ride fixed it ticks all the boxes. In my mind that’s great. Ride it and work out what you don’t like then go from there.

    If it’s cheap, yeah. Steel frames are ultra reliable, I’m sure you’d get 1,000 miles out of the crankset before they fail tho
