The thought of using a petrol pump at a petrol station worrying you? It worried Frankie too! You don’t want to get it wrong so we learn how to get it right first time!

Frankie’s asked me how to get petrol so we’re going to get petrol from the petrol station cuz this is something that worries a lot of people it’s like well I’ve seen it in movies and they explode and blow up what if I get it wrong yeah yeah I don’t want to get that wrong what if I put the wrong Petrol in the wrong petrol yeah well your car just won’t go anymore you’ve destroyed the engine yeah don’t do that so uh we’re going to get petrol so now you know how to get petrol yeah I’ve got a silly pu cam on so I’m going to look stupid this will be fun let’s here we go yeah cool have a look and see if you can find the petrol pump image on the right of the car there’s an arrow on it can you see the arrow yes yes and it’s pointing to the side of the car that your petrol filler cap is easy easy in every car every car has that so we’re on the right so you want to put one of those pumps on the right of your car okay nice um we’re going to go in here let’s do it all grades here that’s what it says great and you want like the back window to be next to the pump okay keep stay left stay left left left cool not too close we don’t want to be too close have a look over your shoulder you’ve got the back window next to the pumps uh yeah I’m I’m a bit far forward so let move back a bit fine okay the the hoses are super long yeah so let’s go and get petrol yay the first thing that you’re going to want to do is open the hole that you put the Petrol in yeah what you need is to put the key in to unlock the hole oh okay to unlock the fuel filler cap some doesn’t need that but this is an old school system now pull cool all right okay and then here you’ve got a hook and there you’ve got a hook oh great or you’ve got a hook and you’ve got a hole we’ll put the hole how do I take the hook out can’t take it out put the hook in the hole Y and then we can get petrol yeah it tells you inside the fuel filler cap exactly what to fill it up with yeah so we can use E5 or E10 unle E5 is the new more expensive one it’s better for your engine E10 when we’re on a budget when we’re on a budget what do you fancy putting in I feel like we should do some me10 let’s put some me10 in the car okay yeah cool so we’ve got a pay at pump system here let’s click pay cashier so we can go into the actual shop and and give their money cuz that will make good YouTube than great so inside here there’s a lever if you just pull that up the fuel starts dispensing try that again release and close squeeze keep squeezing you can’t overfill the car okay there’s a sensor on the end of the fuel filler C fuel nozzle that will stop pumping okay and you’ll feel that as a click now should I be watching how much I want to put in if you want to be careful with how much you’re putting in I will be then watch it okay or just fill it up until it’s full okay we’ve got £10.90 £1 how much field would you put in if this was your car £15 what does that get you uh about 10 L so like 10 Coke bottles of pretal oh actually when you put it in coat bottles that’s quite a lot that’s quite yeah yeah that would probably get you for a week if you didn’t drive every day or if you didn’t drive very much if you drive to work and back and then you hook it in forwards first and then down perfect and that’s definitely close the hole and then what you can do is make a note of the pump that you’re at pump is number two you walk inside you ask for pump number two and you pay I’ll wait in the car it’s a joke it’s a joke C and all cars should stay on on the the pump door on the inside what E2 or you know if your car needs petrol or diesel if you borrow a summer’s car definitely ask petrol or diesel you can feel it in the engine what different type of fuel it needs uhhuh hey uh pump number two please yeah uh filming something for YouTube is that cool thank you very much easy easy very easy yeah yeah it’s much easier than you think it’s going to be but until you’ve done it I’ll help you until you’ve done it you don’t know no and it’s a worry for people it is can I take this off now yeah you can take that off thanks is that a good useful video so useful and it doesn’t so we were Park we parked fine but so those hoses stretch really far aren’t they really long yeah you can park quite Far Away really far away and also if there’s if you’re don’t not even sure what side your fuel is on Park on any side and they will reach AC the car

  1. You’re so lucky you arrived at the petrol station with nobody else there, I can’t remember the first time I filled my car up with petrol, probably 10 years ago!

  2. I was advised that if you do put the wrong fuel in,don't start the engine, inform the people at the station,or call a fuel recovery company-they may go by a different name. Also, insurance companies may cover this, please don't quote me on that, though.

  3. 1 tip, when you get a new car, check how to open the fuel cap, and practice it before going to petrol station. Learnt this lesson with mine, it's a royal pain, to the point of needing youtube (others are the same). (oh and don't get too close, otherwise can't get out), done that more than once 😂)

  4. I ride a motorcycle and a car. There’s been one petrol station who was not nice to me because a driver decided that he didn’t want me to fill up there and ran in to get the attendant to tell me to go. The attendant told me to stop my bike and I have to wait for the police to get there. Ended up with my bike being taken because of that twat.

  5. Another crucial lesson for anyone new. LOCK YOUR DOORS WHEN leaving your car unattendrdnto pay for fuel. People are about innscooterd to tske anythung they consider valueable.

  6. Thank you for your videos, I had my test this morning in Morden and passed with 3 minors, watching you content has helped me.

  7. In The United States 🇺🇸 And Canada 🇨🇦 You Must Pay First Before Fueling Either Pay At The Pump By Credit Or Debit Card Or Pay The Attendant Inside The Store With Pump Number Identification

  8. i was just at this petrol station yesterday and for some reason i have forgotten how to pump my car LMAO. i only put £10 worth and left as to not hold up the line & also hoping i’d have better luck at Sainsbury’s because i had a blip at the same Tesco one two weeks prior (think i’m cursed) so thx for this😂

  9. Every sense been driving there one gas station in my town pump your gas for you alway when to it. But now think they completely close down my anixey going get to me when have pump myself 😢 it embarrassed

  10. I just got my license and today was my first time needing to go to the petrol station (I share a car with my household so this is first time it’s been left to me to do by myself lol). I was so worried I was going to be that ‘idiot’ at the pump, so I’m glad I looked this up beforehand. This tutorial was so helpful to me, thanks for posting it ☺️

  11. Unlike boys, girls aren’t interested in anything but silly girl things. They’re not curious about everyday things. Boys watch what their parents do. They observe and learn. They investigate.
So when it’s up to us to do it ourselves, we have a general idea of how it works.
    Girls? No clue.

  12. Don't understand why people drive. It's a lazy thing unless it's public transport, food delivery or emergency services. Most people can walk, cycle or use public transport. Far cheaper

  13. Fun video, and it’s a great reminder that even small mistakes—like putting the wrong petrol in a car—can be costly. Similarly, misclassifying a business expense in your accounts can quietly eat into your profits.
