I got some new maxxis HOLY ROLLERS……the rubber smell is strong. They have been off gassing for a month, I can still smell it….I keep my bike in my room.. I was getting a headache at first…it was unbearable… Wash with soap and water…wash with vinegar…..air them out….sit in direct sun…… Still….friggin RUBBER SMELL
They are a little heavy but you can really move out on paved surfaces hard packed dirt and on fresh limestone trails they seem to float across where as knobbiies will lose some speed. I ran a set on my 29ers for a century from Chicago to Milwaukee
Hookworms r decent tires but the ringworms where the best. Nice grippy tread from one bead to the other so they were perfect if u grinded jagged concrete ledges. The tread was great for street or ramp park and they lasted a long time b4 needing to b replaced. Maxxis needs to bring them back.
I have an old school rim ,26βx 2.0 ,on an e-bike IZip Was intersted in the 26βx2.5 or what are the biggest tires I can put on my 26βx2.0 rims ..for off-road .. thanks

Most overrated tire around
tires that make your bike more stealable
Contender for the worst tires Iβve ever used
An invisible beast π§
Hookworm. good for bike tires, but bad for human intestines π
They do look great, and roll good, and have good puncture resistance. they even have good grip on smooth surfaces.
But man they are heavy, and stiff.
Love Maxxis. Totally hate those hookworm tires.
Worst tires ever, heavy, garbage ride quality and the rubber compound is hard and slick in anything but completely dry conditions. No thank you.
I have a pair of 26β. X 2.10 Stone Iron slicks on my bike. Great on the tarmac and not bad on dry hard pack too.ππΎπ¬π§
Rode those in 20 inch 20 years ago. They were a great tire for street and park riding.
I mean yellow lettering is all it has going for it, the tread looks like those goofy kenda flamme tires from back in the day
I managed to set up mine tubelessπ
This tire is for road and offroad?
I love my Hookworms on my Surly 1×1 π
I had those. They wear out to fast.
What are these even for
Schwalbe Super Moto are good too… up to 2.5 inches.
I donβt know why the proβs donβt try them at those urban downhillβs. Knobbies are just stupid on pavementβ¦
Look cool but got too many punctures.

26 x 2.5,,,,i think they have been with me for over 10 years now…& still rolling great…those Exxon compound is really something else..
How much are they.
No tube would be better
That looks like a stroller tire π₯π
Why the stupid gloves?
Who the fook is fitting 2.5 in their bike lol

Absolute myth no way they went on that easy π
Not repacing that rim tape was criminal
Tyres that show people you have a βWheelie bikeβ
