Fork has been replaced with a Marzocchi Bomber Z2 (140mm). Also upgraded to a Deore 1×11 group and BB. Shifts great.
Really fun bike in great condition, well taken care of. A couple cosmetic rock chips but ready to ride.

Great bike. I got 7 rides on it. I thought I was going to replace my enduro, but I have to choose one. It has the same geometry, so downhill feels the same, except it’s a hardtail.
It’s also a lot of fun to ride in the city, mt Sutro, headlands, etc.
If I had space, I’d keep it.
I got it on sale, so I’m trying to pass the savings along

Oh man, I’m so biased. I have a growler 40 and I love it to death. I’ve done everything on it. rail to trails, black diamond tech, bike parks, bikepacking, even rode it on a group ride in Seattle. That was painful. It’s a beast of a hardtail that can take on the chunkiest of downhill mountain biking, which makes me want to keep it until it breaks. And I will, probably.
