My parents bought me a new GT Vertigo in gold for Christmas. I had it for a year or two before it got stolen and I’ve been wanting one for the past 24 years.
I’m old and finally in a position to buy a restoration project.

Not a common colour so that’s the tricky bit. Join fb gt groups and pages, midschool bmx groups and pages and of course bmxmuseum, that’s as much as you can search really
Buy any other color, match paint, re-decal?
Or find a chrome one and get a clear gold powdercoat which would look amazing.
My personal experience with nostagia builds is that you start out wanting to duplicate the original, but end up building an “ultimate” version that you could never have owned BITD.
