Got a brand new Grail Cf 7 a month ago and i love it, but today i tumbled off my bicycle like an idiot and the side of my bike slided along the sidewalk. fortunately rotors, gears, carbon frame everything is/works fine. Only the fork concerns me and since this is my first carbon bike, i have no clue if those two scratches on my fork should worry me or not…
I would appreciate any help/ideas/opinions on if i should chill out or replace the fork whatsoever
Thank youu:)

That looks like a nice scratch to me! Im glad you are okay after your tumble 🤘

I believe the forks are pretty beefy in terms of carbon layup and the amount of material at that spot but someone else chime in with more experience…

  2. That sucks, but doesn’t look like structural damage to me. You could always consult a carbon repair shop for their opinion. Otherwise you could probably fix it up with some touch up paint.

I’ve been flamed to hell on this sub for fork damage I have on my grail cf8. This is a beauty mark, ride on
