Just an American trying to learn more about and Germany and the rest of Europe.
Today we’re gonna check out My FIRST IMPRESSIONS of BREMEN GERMANY (As an American)
oh you got to give him that hu too and spit on that thing you get me all right so this video was supposed to be uploaded a little over a year ago but you know how my upload schedule is a little crazy so we’re going to start off with this initially this video wasn’t even supposed to be filmed I was supposed to see a friend that you guys know and definitely love crispy Rob box and dorf he had a boxing match he W up winning it was awesome he invited me and my friends out there and thanks to the deuts bond I was not able to attend because my train was completely cancelled after I had paid for my ticket and everything the train that we wind up taking was going to arrive in dorf too late so I would have missed the fight so my friend as me and my friends were traveling decided to throw us a bone and said hey how about I show you my home City bra and I’m like that sounds amazing now before we continue into this video I already know at least a thousand of you guys probably told me my pronunciation of bra was completely botched it’s bra m not brain well I learned that the locals in brain call it brain they call it bra and not brayman everybody else calls it brayman cuz that’s how it’s supposed to be pronounced blah blah blah but if you’re a local you pronounce it bra so if you hear me say bra throughout the video it’s because all the people who are showing me around were also from bra minus the friends that I went to bra with it it was really cool so but first and foremost like comment and subscribe I have a trip planned to Germany again for my camper tour it’s going to be incredible I have 11 cities that I’m going to be touring through and then a few more after the trip trip is done so I can see all of you in person and get into this thing so a friend suggested meeting him in bra to show me a city and I did just that I hopped in the deuts bond we actually got off the deuts bond at Brain before it could get to the next stop or whatever and we met up with Malta man we’re all out here and stuff man we’re at the train station the bra H bonhoff which looks very similar to the hug H bonhoff kind of what can you say about bra that you like like the most about it and stuff like that possibly the architecture because bra is quite an old city it’s mentioned first in probably year 900 yeah that’s cool and so you’ve got old uh buildings just flowing into each other with uh NE buildings so you have old structures flowing into just gigantic glass that’s awesome that’s pretty much similar to Hur a little bit but like it’s probably more intense here out of all of the cities that I visited I think maybe only aen looked older or just as old as bra did there’s like a a a soccer game a football Spiel here and stuff like that so there’s going to be a whole lot of stuff happening um you guys might notice there’s a lot more police yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah for sure bro so there’s like a lot more police here than normal and stuff because there’s about to be a a footwash spel so yeah dude we’re about to go see the rest of the BR brand looks pretty cool like the hot B looks very similar to Hook’s hot b a little bit but maybe a little less crowded this is kind of what it looks like in case you guys are wondering it’s Fabby and Malta in front of me and Killian’s right here with the pink bro look at this this is super cool if you look at this this like whole like inner portion of the Hub bun hole it’s [ __ ] dope dude kind out yes exactly it does really feel like the konad doome hot Bon Hof actually okay turn Jesus Christ I’ve definitely said this more times than I can count but I was absolutely mesmerized by how beautiful and Victorian looking this H bonhof looked I’ve seen quite a few H Bon hofs since I’ve been in Germany and of course traveling technically across the world and stuff like that but this easily was the most beautiful hot bonov I’ve ever seen in my life comment down below if you agree or let me know if there’s a prettier one hey what’s up everybody so uh there’s Irish Pub actually right behind me Patty’s pit Irish Pub bonhof so it’s over here and if you go downstairs there’s like a whole basement full of beer and Irish stuff and it’s really cool hold on I’m actually breathtaking really quick by this beautiful view over here brond is super cool obviously I compare like different cities to other cities that I’ve been to already like this is very much its own thing but the only place I can really relate it to at all is dled dorf a little bit like some of it you know remember when we walked out in dorf and stuff there were like all those trams and the gravel looks like this it’s like really clean it looks similar a little bit a little bit just a little bit just a little bit Yeah so of course we made our way from the h bonhof walking through and towards the enin do of brain and on our way we saw some pretty interesting things like some mom and pop stores and definitely this random American Candy Store House of sweets they got all like the most common American candies dude that you can probably think of this is super cool you got like a lot of the classics dude they got Dragon Ball Z on there too let’s go oh and I’m like oh okay and it’s very interesting always seeing that you know like what is Europe’s perception of America in Europe you know what go ahead and let me know in the comments down below what is your perception of the US Mo there we go Mo holy [ __ ] the windmill that’s insane what the [ __ ] dude what the [ __ ] this is so cool it’s cute it’s like a random old Relic like right in the middle of everything that’s so cool do you know when read those little little children’s books and stuff and like they have drawings like this like an old windmills and like yeah the typical windmills this is this is crazy I feel like they like contrl c contrl v do they light this up at night does it have like a no wow are are you able to go up there and stuff oh wow oh my god dude I didn’t even notice this what this like little like [Music] area how beautiful this is man have like a lingerie store you got this uh gift card area another place where you can get some food some donuts and stuff the smells here really good smells very like marshmallow stores related to food oh coffee shops a lot of coffee shops and bakeries that makes sense and as I mentioned before I tend to compare a lot of what I see to places I’ve already been and for this particular Mall it reminded me of the oopa paga in Hamburg and that’s the closest thing I could relate this to very clean very Sleek a lot of shops a lot of upskill restaurants as well as upskill shopping centers and stuff like that and still maintained a really nice European feel and really took my breath away very clean uh well-kept and whatnot and I can’t get over the Cobblestone I’m a sucker for it all right but the paga itself looked very I know it’s called the Katarina theal but very iconic as far as places I’ve looked at in brain man it’d be really cool to see the vinox marck when they’re open but I’ll be leaving the day that they do open holy schmoly but at least you’re going to see the VX Mar in general yes exactly we saw a bunch so far and glue Vine is up there that’s probably my favorite drink dude when it’s made right cuz I guess I’ve had enough glue Vine now where it’s like some glue Vine was like a little a little too strong man and funny enough it it wasn’t the glue Vine that had the uh rum in it it was the regular glue Vine they had some other stuff in it or whatever right probably the wine was the wine itself was super strong well this is genuinely one of the oldest buildings I’ve ever seen and it looks very well preserved very well preserved like it doesn’t look like it’s been like that weathered you know what the [ __ ] it’s way bigger than I thought what the hell’s go holy [ __ ] dude so we finally made it to the enin and one of the first things that we definitely looked at was the boox mock and it was absolutely incredible but what I did not know is that where this was was also in the center of the whole city next to the rot house and everything else what makes this interesting is a story about the Doms Hof or the spookin that was in the center of the city Jesus Christ actually somewhere around here I don’t know the exact spot right now but uh there’s been the last execution in the last execution the last execution uh of a woman of a woman who poisoned her own family and friends so the the final execution like in Germany was here oh in bra the final execution in bra was here 1928 I believe and the place where her head landed when she was decapitated uh that’s where a little uh stone is set and from that day on you were allowed to spit on that stone and I’m like wow that’s interesting why does everybody spit here here because of course as I was looking at all of these beautiful sites buildings Cobblestone stands everything it was incredible but what I did see was people spitting in this one particular spot oh you got to give him that Huck too and spit on that thing you get me and I’m like why is everybody spitting here this don’t make any sense everybody is spitting in the same location I don’t know why and that’s when my friend told me this story basically a stone in the middle of the Dom’s ho commemorates a particularly gruesome event in brain where the so-called spook Stein was set into the pavement of the Dums Hof the serial killer gisha gotfried was executed after she poisoned 15 people with arsenic at the beginning of the 19th century isn’t that crazy that’s pretty [ __ ] crazy so you’re telling me that the last person that was decapitated or yeah that was decapitated or executed and uh bra was here somewhere here and when her head flew wherever her head landed they put a stone there and everybody spits on that stone 400 and like you guys are probably like dude what did she get like executed for bro she killed some of her family members they must have really not gotten along man family and her friends and her friends and her friends oh yeah that needs we got to find that stone man we got to spit on that [ __ ] so in true Goblin fashion our hunt for the spooker or spitting Stone began I mean we had to spit on it for the one time you feel me ladies and gentlemen boys and girls we actually found the rock with all the spit oh that’s it right there yeah that’s it right there holy [ __ ] this is the rock with the spit and guess what spit on I guess that’s where it is dude that’s the stone though where everybody spits cuz uh the lady killed her family and friends I mean the family’s okay but the friends bro why would you kill your friends well I mean it’s a tradition and I guess I’m glad to be a part of it make sure when you come to bra you do the same thing okay well well well as you could imagine all of that exploring head all of us hungry because up to that point my friends and I had not eaten anything we woke up bright and early to go initially to see crispy Rob’s boxing match but that got nixed because the deuts bond had other plans for us but now we were in brain hungry and very vividly curious about our surrounding environments so what better way to quench our hunger than go to one of the most iconic McDonald’s in yes the world located in the very same spot that we were exploring today in brain back at like a crack addict what’s up everybody hey in deuts in bra you know it’s actually pretty nice it’s uh James bra okay get used to this or don’t get used to this ladies and gentlemen but the sun is actually out that is a very rare occurrence in Germany so whenever you get sunlight jump for joy cuz that is that’s not a thing out here it’s mainly rain and whatnot I actually have a quick question very quick question so what’s the weather typically like like and brim is it similar to hurg or to yeah really so it’s rainy this uh in summer this is not very rare but uh usually it rains a lot okay especially in in Spring and in fall and yeah also in Winter it doesn’t snow really much we have like two days of snow in a year oh [ __ ] what’s up everybody so we’re actually at a McDonald’s and Germany and bra it’s really cool the menu is actually a little different the lunch menu is actually entirely different than the menu in America the breakfast menu is the same but the lunch menu way different I got like a cranberry is it a cranberry like sandwich or something cranberry with bacon and yeah chicken it’s like a cranberry bread thing has a cranberry on the bread and then it has bacon and chicken so so it’s bacon chicken and a and a beef patty so you know they have like the M chickens and they have actual Burgers right they took the chicken patty and the burger patty and bacon and put it all in one and then put raspberry stuff or Cranberry toppings on top of the actual bun bro from the window it’s pretty nice see the city from here oh [ __ ] oh [ __ ] thanks appreciate it yeah ripped the bag ripped oh [ __ ] there’s the bag I also got the sismic flurry and stuff so boom it’s a caramel McFlurry we don’t have this in the states at all at all we have McFlurries but we don’t have this caramel McFlurry dude your ice cream machines aren’t broken here dude it’s crazy not so James that’s your oh this this is this is my burger right this is the cranberry uh whatever the heck the thing is hold on let me open it up Bo see the top of it the presentation’s even good look at that oh hold on look at that oh that’s not that’s not a piece of chicken that’s a hash brown oh I didn’t know that oh yeah it’s a rusty C Rusty oh that’s so cool that’s so cool what the [ __ ] well I got to take a bite and tell you what I think bro oh my God this looks so good oh my God this sh tastes amazing first of all the meat is fresh cook up and the bacon the bacon is the best part the bacon is so good the inside looks really good too the white stuff is the Mayo uh this is the hash brown this is the cheese this is the bacon the bacon oh my [Music] God there’s cranberries in here yeah it’s a cranberry you you selected the cranberry one yeah yeah there’s cranberries in the sandwich I was like when with the Cranberries going to be a thing they’re in the sandwich bro it all compliments each other too it’s the best burger i’ over half of McDonald’s ever after leaving McDonald’s obviously we were pretty much satisfied and whatnot and we had to make our way on over back to the shops but not before admiring a few monuments of course oh that’s the building with the gold on it yeah that’s holy moly dude for the people watching this video that building right there is covered in Gold it’s shiny as hell dude three generations of human beings worth are on that on that building dude probably more and now if you turn around that’s our ooh this is the r House of bra oh my God bro look at this that’s so beautiful impressed I can’t I can’t believe how detailed this is once again the appreciation is in the details right you got to really appreciate the finite things in the building and whatnot it’s pretty cool I didn’t realize there were like two twin sides of the building what the freak our Dome has two towers has two towers oh my God this is the statue it’s called Roland and uh I have nothing I don’t know anything about it so he’ll be able to tell you about it really I don’t remember the story but yeah it’s a it’s an old yeah it’s an old statue FR of the house nice yeah so this is the Roland statue and then that’s the rod house right here super crazy right it looks so cool and there’s the Train the tram it’s a tram oh hold on D he loves these dude he loves these you dinosaur of deut is it Dino Dino din dinur Dina they have candles it sounds so like elegant oh dude this is what the G-rated version of what we saw yesterday looks like say the g this golden area right here there’s like a golden sculpture in the middle of this alley we’re about to walk down it looks absolutely gorgeous and then there’s some people playing the accordion which is really nice and this is exactly about the time where we discovered the candy shops that were inside of brain and what makes these candy shops very unique they’re not like the ones we saw earlier where these are you know shops that sell outsourced candies and whatnot this place makes its own candy and I’ve never been to a place like that before this is so cool so they got like the presser and stuff right there so this is where they roll them out then they put them in there to press them and then they like they drop them so they get into the single pieces okay okay okay so seeing them drop that’s so satisfying um I’m about to try this handmade candy from the store that’s actually right behind me for the first time I don’t know what what I’ll try first I guess maybe this cuz it looks really good so this is actually the piece of candy that I’m going to be trying oh my God see I’m a c it’s like a um a holiday candy like candy cane but it’s not peppermint it’s the same oh same consist but it’s so rich it’s very sweet it’s like a hard gummy gummy here um partially milky and also very like tart like a Jolly ranch here a little bit so [ __ ] good for of byon Merry Christmas and there’s a little blurb right here super cute these are Bon buns though bu bun buns that’s so cool glad I came buy a suck visited here cuz this is like one of the coolest little things I’ve never seen a candy like manufacturer before Fab’s about to try one of the uh candies and stuff too what does it taste like do you like it um I know that flavor I can’t get it dude brma bon bon you guys got to come by here and visit this place and look at where it’s located too like this beautiful like it’s not an alley right it’s not an alley it’s more of like a this is an alley it’s a side alley the side alley what really oh my God that’s super cool and then like this is like the place I guess over here and while we were doing this my friend also mentioned that there was one of the smallest alleys in the city that people would travel to in droves it’s like an instagrammable spot so cool there another one of the streets in there the smallest Street in B I believe it’s also the smallest Street in Germany really yeah you can barely F through it oh [ __ ] so I guess we’re about to like see one of the smallest little Alleyways in Germany here but this bro this walkway is so insane bro look at this oh look at the windows the windows look with the mosa but it’s like bigger mosa tiles I mean this alley is so narrow that literally I have to turn myself to the side to walk through this alley yes it’s kind of crazy so that’s what our next destination was for the next few hours was finding this spot cuz we couldn’t find it exactly yes we busted out the GPS but the GPS kept misleading us to different little streets that didn’t have this alley so we walked around walked around and of course with all that walking you could imagine we worked up a little bit of an appetite that’s insane the statue is actually a bath house statue it’s uh pretty uh graphic if you look at it closely he told me everything about this so this is a really small street but this is not the tiniest Street in Germany this is pretty this is pretty small though I’ll let you guys I’m going to show you guys how how tiny this is this is the street and if as I’m walking this way man you can see how close the buildings are like to each other it’s pretty insane there’s a bunch of coffee shops a lot of I call them gingerbread houses cuz they look like gingerbread houses you know what I mean youever tried F yeah fish here fish brma fish Bing but this is backfish oh the other as well I you’re going to grab one you’re going to grab a fish Brin oh [ __ ] dude I might as well grab a fish Brin too all right this is a matus Brin you guys might have seen me eat this earlier but this is a Maus Brin from uh bra from this uh fish Mark it’s called do fish hus do fish ho so that fish house house house I know yeah fish ho fish that that fish house um you can get a nice little close look at this looks really good the fish is all jiggly and stuff look at that look at that wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle all right here we go oh my God it’s really good it’s it’s not as fishy as the other M BR that I had it’s actually really fresh it tastes incredibly fresh the Maus roach I had as small as small um was uh it was good which is really really fishy this one tastes fresh like a like a shot of espresso or coffee but like without the kick you know without the um the crash CA without the [Music] caffeine also we have so many that are so there’s pickles in here too needless to say this fish Brin scratched the exact it I was looking for we were hungry we needed something to eat and what better than to grab a fish Brin from bra I was so so so so satisfied and now it was time to resume our journey to the legendary Alleyway that allegedly is the smallest Alleyway in all of deutan oh dude this is that tiny Street holy [ __ ] look at how tiny the street is that’s the tiny Street that’s the small [Music] street oh [ __ ] another small Street holy [ __ ] moly dude Yep this is just as crazy as it looks after looking at what I thought was the smallest alley in Germany right next to it was this masterpiece an even smaller alley and as people were trickling out in a single file line I kept peeking around the corner wondering when it would be my turn to get to experience something I thought I would never in my life get a chance to experience because this was too good to be true there was a lot of positive energy over in this area a lot of people were having a good time there is a lot packed in this tiny little Street I mean just walking down this was mesmerizing there was a restaurant to the left of me uh as you can see the walls were basically shoulder Tosh shoulder walking down this path super super thin but absolutely worth the experience I mean look at how close those walls are man oh it’s a restaurant what the [ __ ] I didn’t even know that that’s crazy oh my god dude this is a restaurant wow I guess it’s the entrance right there that’s beautiful and then of course um look at what’s in front of us bro a soak it in you have to go sideways y literally oh my God James I didn’t have to go sideways he’s like a mouse though man like he he can fit in the craziest places that’s insane but it looks very festive tonight man as you can see it’s really nice I’m just going to say that in my opinion it could be the world’s smallest alley whatever the case may be we walked down it together and it was a great experience that I would love to have again what the [ __ ] that’s so cool so I guess there’s like a boat all the way over there you can kind of see it it’s right here and it’s F it’s financed by uh like donations and stuff yeah it’s super [ __ ] cool I didn’t know that and I guess like when people like are in need of like rescuing and stuff on the water like off of ships and stuff like that these boats come to the rescue and people fund this which is super [ __ ] cool ladies and gentlemen boys and girls we are here in frame and that was the full tour through here obviously there’s more we could have seen but I had a full day and bra and I loved it the food was amazing the people were fantastic there’s so much to see and do and just sit and appreciate it’s very calm and Majestic dude Majestic is the best way to describe this place a lot of the buildings that are here that are really really old older than America have been preserved in a way that I can only imagine and I got to experience it so I really like this you guys could be so kind to drop a like on the video and subscribe I would greatly appreciate that let me know where you want to see me visit next uh we have a very special announcement that is going to happen later so I hope you guys are ready for it because it has to do with me and my crew being back in Germany for a crazy experience man and you guys get to be a part of it so thank you guys so much I’ll see you soon Bish chiao ciao

Thank you guys for the support on this video! I absolute LOVED traveling here and had some of the best guides with me! I’ll actually be back in Germany in 4 days, so anything I missed I’ll be able to do for the next MONTH! What places should I visit and what things should I do in those places when I get back?
Side note, I definitely have to come back to Bremen to try out that restaurant on the River Front! I wasn’t able to record it since my camera died BUT it was Gorgeous!!!!
The BigRösty is the best Burger from McDonals, but its only available in a smal sesion in the year.
Love that Video, as a Person from Bremen, it was lovely to See Home you Like it
LEBENSLANG GRÜN WEIß!!!
I live in the Oldenburger Land and I can say the only beautiful things in Bremen is the Schnoor and some houses in the rest of the Innenstadt including the Dom, the Rathaus and the Windmill and of course the Weserstadion (# Werder geil). otherwise this city is a hell of uglyness. Its a concrete desert full of 50s/60s/70s typically houses (like a mix of brutalism and bauhaus). Oldenburg is much prettier, it is mostly build in a baroque style inspired by Copenhagen (it was a part of Denmark for a long time). But its even more dead than Bremen, not really for tourists. But great to live, i went there for school for 3 years and it was literally the only big city I felt comfortable.
Funfact: The material from the Dom and the Rathaus comes out of the Weser and is called Wesersandstein (Weser sandstone). You can also find it in other cities along the Weser like Hameln.
hahahaha 5:14
Noice
Bremen definitely has the most beautiful Hauptbahnhof Edifice in Germany!
16:22 The Roland is a statue of the Last Knight who was in charge of the protection of the city 🙂
Appreciate the love for Brem' James!
if you like pretty train stations and ever get the chance, go have a look at the train station in Metz, France. You won't regret it
My hometown 🥰
Nice … Nur der SVW 😀
SVW🤍💚
Do Not forget that the USA destroyed and Bombed Bremen during WW2 – Bremen was nearly erased and there are still bombs in the ground that are activate! F*jk Hitler but my City ist doomed by the A-team as well… See you in hell😢
I saw you while I was out in the city, but thought I was imagining things after hearing nothing about our city for months 😀
Doy-cha Bahn. Ahhhhh. Bahhhn. Doy-cha-Bahn. Ahhhn. Bahhhn.
You have to thank the Royal Air Force & US Army Air Force that Hamburg don't have an historical city anymore. 😉
You didnt meet Stefan & John
Was machst du in Bremen
It’s my home town! There’s so much hate from people living in Hamburg where I also live today, but Bremen us just beautiful! Thanks you for this video. I hope you had a nice time in lovely BREMEN 😍😍
What a beautiful city, ❤
@jamesBray3 here you can find information about roland from bremen. best regards from bremen. it's a pity that your buddy didn't know anything about roland. the story is not uninteresting. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bremen_Roland
It is a pretty citty. Was there a bit before you. With the same tour guide^^ Proud of you boys!
Omg, I saw u in Schnoor ! 😮
Finally my cracky city ❤😂 if u ever want to come back i hope ill see it than cause i always say im born here and ill die here!😂 cause nothing will ever get me out of this City i absolutely love it even tho its fucked up sometimes especially the Hauptbahnhof is fucked😂 but tbh i walk 10 minutes from there to my home and everything here looks amazing im gonna enjoy seeing my city with ur view 💪🏽 so i guess living my whole life over here i know some really nice places 😅
Bremen or Breem who tf cares the ppl matter not the pronounciation xD
Bremen is multikulti and i love it u can find ppl from everywhere around eevry corner
NO No local calls his hometown Bremen Breem! Das totaly wrong! The citys name is Bremen and so it is called. Maybe there are some talahons who find it cool to say Breem but this is only stupid. And by the way why are these way to fast cuts? I'm a Hhuman being not a Terminator with high speed optronics… That's annoying and frustrating.
I'm a New Zealander living in Bremen. I love it. It's compact and has a lot to offer. When I get homesick, I go to the Marktplatz sit down at Becks cafe with a coffee. Looking at the Rathaus and the Cathedral, the realisation that these buildings are older than my own modern land and that I have the privilege of looking at them helps me get over my desire to be back home.
Great video Sir.
The DB in Darmstadt is pretty amazing
0:50 Your pronunciation of our beautiful city is perfect. They all have no idea.
Kind regards
a citizen of Bremen.
The first written documents of Bremen are of the 8th. Century. Just to get that Brem' fact right 😉
Edit: Ok ok, all those wrong history facts get me triggered: The Execution was in 1828 (not 1928)! The woman was called Gesche Gottfried – pretty much anything we tell us of her is wrong, even though proper research has been done by Peer Meter – just read the book or the more recent graphic novel. Back to the spitting stone: We do not know who put it there and why, it is just quite the disgusting tradition to spit on it but most likely not the intended tradition by who ever placed the stone.
crazy stuff my town duisburg is from 865 but beside some old rests of the old city wall and very few buildings nothing rly survived the time.
America is an imperial state holding its "allies" low for full hegemony controle. Wont even start about its enemies. Thats how i think about america.
10:40 the family is ok but your friends bro? 😂
Drecksstadt
Hallo from 🇩🇪 make please more cool videos😊
I'm from "Brem" (Bremen) – the best town ever.
Thanks for your impressions.
But please don't use the name from 'Hamburg' together with our name – may be it's the gate to the world, but we have the key (in the flags).
We also call our town 'village with tram' – because of the 500.000 inhabitans, which all know eachothers (ok, not really).
And our best food is 'grünkohl mit pinkel' (kale with pee (a sausage from grits in pork intestine)).
As a native of Bremen, I have to tell you, it's neither "Brem-en" nor "Brem" – the written ending "-en" sounds slightly after "Brem," almost inaudible, yet you can still hear it, or should I say, "feel" it? To practice, just start with "Brem-en" and then drop more and more of the ending until almost nothing is left. And then a small miracle happens: "Brem…n" becomes "Brem-m." (But the final "m" is only a very faint whisper) 😉
The algorythm wanted to show me this Video and it jumpscared me xD I just saw you eat a Matjes Brötchen in Front of a Künstlerhaus and then walk through the narrow street. And very close to that narrow street was an Atelier my boss co-owned. Many of my artworks were sold there, too xD
And it is so weird to see all the places I've been to… too many times!
I didn't live in Bremen, but in a smaller city called Westerstede, but thanks to work I visited Bremen quite often.
Btw, if you haven't already: Nürnberg has a beautiful Hauptbahnhof (in my opinion), I'd reccommend visiting Hildesheim for Architechture if you want a quick trip over to the Netherlands check out "Vesting Bourtange", a very cute, star shaped little Fortress and if you ever have the pleasure to travel the near Bremen again, go to Dangast and check out our Wattenmeer with a tasty piece of rhubarb cake!
Thank you for pronouncing 'Bremen' (=Breem') correctly! Very respectful actually. :o)
I remember confusing an American friend of mine profoundly, when I was talking about 'Breem' instead of 'Bremen'. :oD
Btw: in Bremen you can also use the word 'Bonschen' for Bonbon.
This is wild.. I follow you for years now and you actually stood in front of my house 😂
