Isn’t the tallest mountain in all of Illinois like 1,200ft? A lift?
I was there that day also, closing day. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the trails were. Nice flow, well maintained features, and a skills park. Hope they can open the rest of the trails or develop more.
Wow, didn’t know the Midwest had a lift access bike park. I will look it up on YouTube out of curiosity.
Never knew about this! I was born in Galena and learned to ski and snowboard at Chestnut. Adding this to my list for next year.
