I built a De Rosa (maybe a Merak) in the early 2000s for a customer and it was far and away the nicest road bike I had ever seen. Significantly nicer than the Lemonds, Specializeds and Treks I was used to at the time. I have had a soft spot for them ever since but have never had the pleasure of owning one… Beautiful!
