  1. I like the fact that it has foot retention and a front brake. Are you used to riding with drop bars? If not, I’d reccomend swapping them out for flat/ riser bars. Otherwise a solid first fixed gear.

    Looks a decent starting point, with lots of room to upgrade over time.
    Nice option to have a flip flop hub incase you really don’t get on with fixed.

    I’d make sure to try it out before buying to check the size. On a fixed gear especially you don’t want to be cramped, or conversely over-reaching.

    I’d also suggest you should try haggling down to get it for $150 if you can. While it’s a decent starting point, there’s nothing on it worth a lot of money. So try save some cash now for upgrades or locks/lights/helmets/accessories etc. that you’ll inevitably want to add
