2022 Checkpoint ALR 5 Shimano 11 speed

So I recently got my rear wheel replaced under warranty by trek (they couldn’t identify what parts were used to assemble the rear hub so it was impossible for them/lbs to find a wrench to disassemble it). Since the replacement at LBS I’ve felt my chain was a little louder when engaging the cogs of the gears (clicking sound). I checked some adjustments in the rear derailleur but it didn’t make a difference. Tonight in preparation for a ride tomorrow I finally took the wheel off to find this amount of play in the cassette. The lock ring seems plenty tight although I don’t have the tool to torque it. I tried to show how the whole cassette pivots on the free hub and individual sprockets can wiggle freely. So my questions are

Is this normal play or am I over reacting?

If not could it be caused by worn out free hub splines (bike only has 2k miles)?

Is it likely a missing spacer? Is there a spacer?

Do you think riding it like this for ~200-300 miles has caused any damage?

Thanks for any help.

Looks like you have a road freewheel with a MTB width cassette. You need to add a 1.85mm spacer on the inboard end of the cassette. The shop should have done this.
