If it was my fork, I would take the headset crown race and bang it in there.
If it goes all the way to the bottom with reasonable force and headset feels smooth, call it a day. There really is nothing that you can do to make it better.
Furthermore, I’m not aware of facing tools designed for carbon fiber. Maybe they do exist, but I’ve installed maybe 20 carbon forks over the years and they’ve all been fine as-is.
