This is a two position switch. I can still have open and firm, but now it goes like further than open and goes firm again.

Yeah it should be fine. Mine is the same. I’ve heard of some people using a rubberband to keep from accidentally knocking it during a ride.

I assume the retention screw is loose.
Loosen up the screw on the back of the lever, and take the lever off, there should be a divot on the pin the lever attaches to. Put the lever back on making sure the screw is facing that divot and tighten in back up, not too much.

Common issue with the Performance DPS. They can fix it when you send it off for service.
Buddy just sent this back to bikesonline with the warranty.

I think I have the same bike – siskiu t8? My shock does not do that. Just the three positions like you mentioned. Feel free to DM me if you want a video of how far mine moves.
