Assuming it's somewhat tongue in cheek, I quite like the collection – but £18 for a bidon and £235 for a gilet – do Rapha have any hope of competing at this price point? I think they've lost the plot.

I like it but the price is ridiculous. I haven’t bought rapha in years. There are so many better options now. Getting stuff from brands like Assos and Velocio made me realize Rapha is big on hype and price but the performance isn’t there.

I actually love the design. I’d totally rock that. But holy hell that pricing is insane. Which seems to be the grand with Rapha. I loved the Patta collab but that sold out within minutes.
Absolute insanity when they jacked up the price recently in the US and then have the audacity to put a pop-up banner on the website saying they ship most orders domestically with no added fees. Also when you go into the Archive Sale, there’s no sale!!! The “sale” price is the original price before they jacked it up.
You can’t even blame the administration for this because I’m not aware of another brand that did this big price increase for the exact same items then claiming no extra fees.
I like Rapha. Fits me well. But I’ll never pay their full price.
The bidons are the same price as all their other bidons tbf, they were never cheap.
But the gilet is extortionate, almost twice the price of their regular pro team gilet
