  1. No helmets, no drop bars, no Lycra, no clipped pedals. And if your cycling population is dominated by fit males in the 18 to 35 age bracket, you don’t really have a cycling culture.

  2. It took the netherlands over 50 years to let go of privelege cars in the cities
And chosed for slow traffic, pedestrians and bicycles, to make the city centre livable again

  3. My wife is south african, moved to the netherlands and learned cycling here. This junction is the big test, if you can handle this spot in rush hour you are a proper city cyclist. ( the video is not shot at rush hour ).

  4. NETHERL AND 🇳🇱 :

  5. As a blind person who has been living in utrecht for the last year the bikes are much better than cars for blind people walking around. I have been crossing this street for a year almost every day and never felt in danger in this part ever.

  6. Only Dutch people. You never see an immigrant on a bicycle. 1. They have no bicycles in their countries so they don't know how to do. 2. They see bicycles as a children's tool, not a vehicle for adults.
