After my seat post slipped down while riding, I noticed that the screw was screwed in very far. Is it actually screwed in too far, or is this normal? I can't remember deliberately screwing the screw in that far or using too much force.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Looks like the wedge piece is missing and the screw is in direct contact with the seatpost. Check the front end of the seatpost for damage (which I highly suggest when only the bolt secured the post and it was slipping)
Yeah, my ultimate has the same problem, and the seat kept sliding, even though you tighten the screw. So I put a little Loctite on the wedge and lots of carbon paste. And now it doesn’t move.
The screw post goes that far on my grail. I say your fine if you applied carbon paste and torqued properly.
