it does this for the first time then it engages 1/4 perfectly fine but after a few times it does the full cycle twice before it engages please help

Drove pawls need adjusted/shimmed. Had to do this to a haro master I had as a kid. You’ll bust your knees on the stem if you don’t fix this
Take it apart, clean it, regrease it. Lots of tutorials on youtube on mots of different types of freecoasters. If that doesnt help, it’s toast and need replacement (or replacement parts if you can figure out the issue).
