Zwei Tage auf einer unglaublich schönen Tour entlang der Enz von der Quelle in Gompelscheuer bis zur Mündung in Walheim. Viele kleine historische Örtchen und eine abwechslungsreiche Natur entlang der ganzen Strecke. Der Enztalradweg, ein sehr empfehlenserter Flussradweg.

Good morning dear outdoor and nature enthusiasts. So now we are really in Gompelscheuer at the Enzquelle. Today we’re going on a little bike ride. Yes, maybe a little bigger. Just come along on the Enzsteil cycle path. Now we can climb a bit here again and then we roll down to Emzklösterle. Let’s take a look back over Gompelscheuer. Here too we can follow these beautiful paths here in the forest. Really great. Here you can see how small the Enz stream is here. before it flows into the Neckar as a mighty river in Wahlheim. Here you can see beautifully into the upper Enztal. Enzklösterle in front of us. Here is our guide. Enztal cycle path, Bad Wildbad 13 kilometers. Such a really nice old farm hut here in these meadows. The hay used to be dried there. Now we’ve driven through the Neuenbürg again. That was the crossing now. Here above Pforzheim, in the foothills of the Black Forest, there is another natural river, the Enz. Here at Herrenstriet, we drive through the residential area. The morning dew on the grass and the sun rising above the horizon. Really nice. Now we are rolling here in Brötzingen, past, past, slowly into the city. It’s really great to drive here, it’s really fun. Here at the hydroelectric power station, we pass the Park Hotel in front of us. A really nice breakfast brunch opportunity here. Here’s another look at the two rivers at the Flößerdenkmal, in Pforzheim on the right you can see the Enz, on the left the Nagold flows. Past the thermal power plant, we continue towards Mühlacker. Here now in Eutingen, further and further towards Mühlacker and to the mouth of the Neckar of the Enz Niefern-Öschelbronn and this bypass of the Enztal cycle path behind us. There was just a signpost here, Vaihingen an der Enz 18 kilometers, that’s our next destination, to Mühlacker. It’s just crazy here in the valley. Really beautiful sunrise with this fog and this dew everywhere in the meadows and fields. Our bike path, here now between the Enz Canal and Enz. Past Enzberg, really great. Here’s another signpost to Vaihingen an der Enz, another 16 kilometers. That’s the next bigger goal, but first we get through Mühlacker. Really nice little gardens here. I think it used to be a bit more like viticulture here, because these terraces that still exist here, these terraces on the Enz are still beautiful from the State Garden Show. Lomersheim 3.9 kilometers that’s roughly. Now we have to take a look here, exactly Lomersheim is our next destination, from the Enzal cycle path, so we are now continuing towards Lomersheim. Really nice old houses here. Here too the Enz, really dammed up again. I assume the next run-of-river power plant is already in sight. There are always these beautiful poppies everywhere in the fields. Orientation here is not that difficult. We finally drive along the Enz. If we always stay somewhere close to the river , we can’t be fundamentally wrong. Vaihingen still 12 kilometers, Müllhausen 3.8. Great, morning dew evaporating again. In front of us is Müllhausen. Due to the viticulture that we now see here in Müllhausen, the character of the Enz Valley is of course completely changing . For us, another 6 kilometers to Vaihingen following the Enztal cycle path. Up here we see the first buildings here in Roßwag, the beautiful church and the half-timbered buildings. Really great. Here we went to the center of town, we’re skipping that today because we really have to calculate the time carefully. Here is the wine shop. The Lemberger, of course there is no mistaking it as a noble roll. You can see through the trees and across the street that the Enz is heavily dammed here. An impressive structure, the ICE express train route here. Here we can actually cross the Enz again. Here at the front you turn left again towards Bietigheim. The last 5 kilometers should now have started towards the mouth. In front of us there is another one of those river signposts, here on the Enztal cycle path, for a change, there is also a bicycle coming towards us. Commendable. Here we can now drive a part directly on the flood dam of the Enz. Already in Bissingen. It’s quick and easy. For us we continue quickly along the Enzen. There at the hydroelectric power station comes the Neckar and to the right the Enz. Nevertheless, I would like to take advantage of the opportunity. I would like to thank you for coming along.
