So then, oh, Dill, look at the speed he’s carrying. Again, he’s having to slow cuz he’s carrying so much speed towards the turns. Martin sliding the back wheel. It is game on, folks. Over the line they go then. Imagine that. You’re just sliding the back wheel of a superbike around the roads of Northern Ireland. Here he comes on the kilo. He’s not expecting him there, was he? I think he was expecting it anywhere, isn’t he? It’s Michael. There he goes. Then Michael Dop goes through 4/10. That was the difference on the previous lap. But now Michael Dop is the new race leader of the Oscar Grand Prix. There is Connor Cum and Bruce Anste. That’s the battle for fourth. Yeah, Michael Philip Macallen’s choice of course at the start of this race and I think well certainly was mine as well. I chose everyone so I don’t care who wins. Oh, look at Guy Martin. Look at Guy Martin really closing up on Michael Dof the Tao Suzuki. Plenty of top end. This is Deersley. That’s just a big corner at the top there. And they were so close together. Michael Dunlop going Martin. Who’s behind them? No one. Yeah. Same line from both guys. Same body language through there. Ireland as well. You’re scraping it through there. And now will Martin try and use the slipstream up the hill to draw alongside. Oh, is it close enough? He is. Wo. They didn’t even wait for the slipstream, did he? But Michael can hit back here. Dofin hit back here. Oh, he’s hit back. He has. Has he No, they touched. They definitely touched. Martin was almost out of the seat there. Those bikes came together. That was as close as it’s ever going to be. That was a case of no, you don’t. So, Michael is going up the inside here as well. That’s another superb. We’ve seen him do this loads of times. That was the slipstream that time. Guy Martin just got mugged and now Wheelers. Oh, they’re back again. Anything you can do? Yes, Sky Martin goes through. So down to Turner Gruff. Oh, she’s too big a corner to start doing that kind of stuff on you boys. Yeah, I think Michael Dunlop might just be patient here. Lindsay Hairpin will be crucial. Guy Martin will know that Michael Dunlop will be looking for a way past him here. He’s going to try and outthink him as well as out race him. And Michael Dunlock following in the wheel tracks there. Oh, so late on the brakes. Oh, he’s off. Oh dear. So late on the brakes that he came off. Yeah, Guy Martin as well was all over the place. I don’t know if Michael was reacting to how Guy Martin was sliding all around, but uh Michael goes down. Well, they took it to the limit and beyond, didn’t they? Guy Martin somehow or other managed to stay on the Tao Suzuki and the limping Michael Dunlop fell off. Now watch Guy Martin. Watch his rear. Watch. You see his back wheel sliding all over the place. Just laid it down too. He was too quick, wasn’t he? He was. Yeah. Too quick.

  3. I think GM was always going into the corner wide to cut across the apex to stop being overtaken up the inside, the wobble before he moves across suggests to me he was going faster than planned. Racing accident. It happens. Though how these boys race bikes when they have balls the size of football I don't know.

  4. Guy Martin, the Scania mechanic with some extraordinary understanding of setup and how to get the most out of a bike.
And he is a good rider, too! 😊

  5. I don't know why i watched that. 40-50 years ago I watched an isle of man race (i think it was man) and a guy lost control and hit a building. I also saw a side car race with a crash or two. I guess I wanted to see if someone got killed because I didn't want that to happen, but I had to know. Every second of this video I was cringing waiting for the end. Good to see that he just laid the bike down. Whew! I really hate seeing people hurt.
