Aww Orla, 59 years old here and in absolute bits, what you did was fantastic, let the haters hate, that says more about them than you. I know how hard it is to climb the Madeleine and I didn't have 90km in my legs to start off with. So, give yourself a massive pat on the back, I know you are going to dust yourself down and do it all again next year. Keep 'er lit
Have really enjoyed following this adventure. Well done Orla & family 👏
Was nowhere near enough training for that ride.
Fantastic ride Orla ❤❤
Orla, well done and thank you for bringing us along the journey.
Big fan of Rhian’s Pinarello!
Fantastic Orla, you are so great about being open about your struggles – congratulations!
Brilliant Orla, you'll forget the leg pain, and remember the achievement, then you'll sign up to do it again as that's how sadistic we all are. Lovely film
Super ❤❤❤
Well done Orla, and great your friend helped you. Chapeau.
Orla was an elite athlete, twenty five years ago. Col de Madelaine is 5 times longer/harder than the Tumble (Abergavenny). Orla was not readily prepared for this even. Had not done enough training. Had not done enough real world riding. Great film.
Heck yeah, that is an enormous achievement, holy moly!
The advert for zwift is so subtle love it 🤗
Thanks for sharing Orla! You should definitely be proud of the way you battled. This was so honest! 👏💪
Honest, emotional and incredible. The fact you put it all out there, your hopes, your dreams, your vulnerability. Shed tears, laughed, and gave your all, well done Orla, keep on inspiring people, you are an amazing person 🙌
its awesome that she showed the vulnerability, and even though she did not finish, she is still a winner
Wow, that is a fabulous achievement. I can’t imagine how much added pressure she felt with a camera crew following her around to record her suffering. Tremendous courage to persevere. Congrats, Orla!
The Etape was BRUTAL! I may have broken a land speed record shooting out of Chambéry like a maniac after finding myself in Group 1 buuuut those hills went onnnnnn. Orla absolutely smashed it! 💖💖💖
Orla is absolutely incredible and such an inspiration ❤Well Done 👌👏
Well done Orla.
Hi Orla, it’s not like watching it on tv and I think we all think I could give that a go. With a little training behind us easy eh… reality is never the same and you did what you had in your legs that day. It was brilliant, inspiring and real.
Fantastic Orla, thanks for sharing the journey with us. Truly inspirational for us ordinary mortals who take on these challenges 🇮🇪
Love this! Well done everyone who took part. Kudos to everyone who made their own finish line!
I love you so much Orla, thank you for sharing all of the emotions, up and down! Like you said, that's what being human is, and what an incredible one you are 🥰
Such an inspirational watch, such determination and such support from friends and family. Everybody needs a cheerleader like Rhian 🙂 You're also incredible Orla, many thanks for sharing this with us.
