Oof I was wondering about the rock. The limestone here in Central Texas is slippery as hell when wet.

In Texas we are discouraged from riding in the wet to prevent ruts when the dirt dries. I guess a policy like that isn’t really needed when the trail never dries.

In NC, trips will close if conditions are poor and train erosion is likely. I wouldn’t ride in conditions like this just because I want to preserve our trails.
I puckered at the wet wood.
