And we have states now that are reducing/eliminating so much history in schools – so dangerous – being uncomfortable is part of learning our full good-bad past… And this particular part of history has not been taught in public schools that I know of.

No one has mentioned in the comments that only one nation has used atomic weapons in a war but the spin on that is that it saved lives.
