I thinking of conver my road bike from 2x drivetrain to 1x, because the front derailleur keep malfunction, and i never use the small chainring anyway, after remove the derailleur can i just leave the shift cable inside the frame ?
No, 1x conversions are more involved than what you’re suggesting here

that front derailluer is way too high. No wonder it doesn’t work correctly. Lower it to be 1-3 mm above the large chainring. right now, it looks to be almost 1 cm high. It would probably be higher if your braze wasn’t already maxed out.
There are plenty of professional tutorials online to direct you on how to dial in your bike.
if you want to go 1x, then get a proper 1x crank and or narrow/wide chainring.
but basically, you’re addressing the problem with the wrong solution. if you can’t dial in the deraiileur, take it to a shop so that you can get the real issue at hand fixed

Take your bike to a local bike shop and have them adjust your front derailleur.

This is not a good idea. You’d need a 1X chainring and a way to move the front chainline inboard. Your shifter and the cable will rattle constantly. Just fix the der — it’s not like it’s a black art or anything.
