  1. It’s slightly standard for Rampage to be honest. Brage and Gee absolutely grenaded themself out of the event that one year.

That said… What Silva tried and what happened from failing that attempt is the worst Rampage crash I’ve ever seen. Even worse than Paul Bas (which basically paralyzed him and he had to work his ass off to get compromised function back)

I don’t know how to feel about it. At the end of the day, you are NOT going to keep Adolf from doing shit like that. He tried to double backie the darkfest 90.

But… There is a reason the Fest Series is run one way, and Rampage is run another.

I don’t want riders to feel like they have to send it in one run (or at most 2) to make or break their career or earn some life-changing amount of money or something. I dunno

It’s just tough because the exact same things happen at Darkfest, Nines, Joyride, etc. (with or without cliffs)

Having worked in action sports during the rise of the ‘mega ramp’… You will never stop athletes from pursuing these things. Pay or no pay.

Hell Crusty Demons of Dirt existed before ALL this shit. There are just some dudes who are built like that. Not for a single penny. They will send it

  2. Absolutely sending it. Some people have this mode unlocked – because they’ve practiced and they’ve pushed their own boundaries. At some point, when the track and their pursuit to be better is at the extreme, the event is going to push people over. Honestly speaking, and I don’t have experience to say, but this seems more raw than even Enduro with dirt bikes. So, they’ve started finding the edge of what’s possible.
