Front Derailleur shifting really hard when tension is relieved

All Shimano Tiagra 4600 Drive Train

I replaced an old front shifter cable and now my FD isn’t shifting well. It takes a lot of effort and cable tension to shift into low gear and it springs back with quite a bit of force when shifting into low gear, knocking the cage out of alignment.

I also uninstalled the FD to give it a clean/lube so maybe I reinstalled it erroneously?
