Shimano Claris ST-R2000 STI levers and Shimano Deore XT RD-M737 rear derailleur… Perfect match! Are they work fine together?

Sweet upgrades. They’re great frames that originally come with basic budget components.
I think I have a blue 21″ H300 waiting as a project. (I have over 70 bikes so I forget.)

Dude I have the exact same frame in a size bigger 20″ and its too big for me.
How do you like that Claris front shifter? I have a Claris 2×8 setup on my gravel bike that I am thinking of converting to bar ends because I cant get the front derailleur to not rub in all the gears. The claris front derailleur has no barrel adjuster and trying to tune it properly is a royal pain in the ass, it seems to me like it doesn’t pull enough cable. Is yours working well in the highest and lowest gear combos?
