(Sorry for the bad pictures in advance, these are the best I could get)
I’m quite new to all this bike stuff so any advice is appreciated! I saw this listing for a Benotto modelo 800 for €50 and I was wondering if it is worth it? It has what I believe to be Campagnolo modolo corsa breaks set and a shimano light action derailleur.

If you cycle because you need a reliable form of non-automotive transportation: probably not.
If you cycle recreationally/leisurely, and/or you like turning a spanner and fixing things: probably.
If you want a project 50 euro is an OK price though if it’s been posted for a while I’d offer 35 or something. This is going to need new rubber bits, brake shoes and tires. A new chain probably wouldn’t hurt. If it the right size?
I love working on bikes, would definitely buy for 50. But like others said, it’s not for someone who just wants to ride.
Yes, the frame is the valuable piece of this and worth the asking price and more. As stated, you might have a big project depending on how familiar you are with repairing bikes. It’s a high end frame and could be expensive to rebuild it the way it should be built.
One never knows without a closer look.
For that price, that bike is really good and in wonderful shape (for my brazilian market standards).
It has good standards, so you can upgrade it as you go. I’d go for it in a heartbeat
It’s a steal! A very good project bike.
Make sure to check for cracks, rust spots, dents, etc on the frame when you go check it out. Everything else is replaceable with a reasonable money/time investment, but if the frame is toast, you have basically purchased a collection of old parts.
Yes
This would make a fun project and probably a great riding bike. Be aware though that you haven’t exactly found a diamond in the rough. While Benotto is a well regarded brand, the 800 series is still plain gauge, Hi Tensile steel. So it won’t be light but it should be pretty darn bomb proof.
