  1. Create something for the thru axle to go through and hang the front tire.
    That way you can fit it under the shelf.
    You could look at a mount for transporting and mount it to the wall.
    Something like a Rocky Mounts HotRod
    It’s much easier to reinstall the front tire than the rear.

    I’d just move the shelf up and use your shallow totes up there so you can hang the bikes from hooks in the wall.

    Looks like the shelf’s useless not holding anything . Remove it and put hooks at the right level for your tire.

    There’s a few tire holders as well on places like Amazon for not to expensive if you want a better option then a hook.

  4. removing the front tire allows you to fit pretty large bikes in a small area. quick release axles make them very easy to take on and off.

    Raise the shelf. Looks like you have stack of useless tote lids preventing storage of important things…. Like bikes.
